ND Profile

Sydney Handel, ND

Dr. Sydney Handel graduated with her doctorate in naturopathic medicine in 2023 from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. While there, she gained a deep appreciation for the art of medicine, and the healing power of nature.

Dr. Handel enjoys helping people understand what lies between them and their optimal wellbeing. She does this by evaluating her patients’ personal and family history, diet, lifestyle habits, and environmental factors, with the main goal of improving overall health so that their main symptoms will improve. She believes in supporting the body’s self-healing mechanisms with the use of nutrition, botanical medicines, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and mindfulness practices. While utilizing these naturopathic modalities, she uses objective techniques to measure outcomes and track patient progress.

Some conditions that Dr. Handel has experience treating include cardiovascular and metabolic disease, digestive issues, blood sugar dysregulation, hormonal imbalances, autoimmune disease, mold and heavy metal toxicity, anemia, allergies, chronic fatigue, anxiety, depression, and women’s health concerns. She also has experience treating acute conditions including sore throats, coughs, ear infections, pink eye, food poisoning, UTIs, yeast infections, and more.

Outside of work, Sydney enjoys spending time in nature with loved ones, experimenting with new recipes at home, reading books, formulating herbal remedies, and listening to live music.
