Dr. Mehrafarin is a board-certified naturopathic doctor (ND) who graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and is in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. She is an active member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

In addition, Dr. Mehrafarin is an International Medical Doctor (MD) from Iran with a Master of Science in Internal Medicine from The University of Edinburgh Medical School, UK. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh (MRCPE) with a wealth of experience in medical practice, education, and medical research.

Dr. Mehrafarin combines over a decade of clinical experience as a general practitioner (family physician) and emergency physician in both hospital and private clinic settings in Iran with her fervor for holistic health and well-being. She has contributed to the publication of several articles, books, and a poster presentation. With an exceptional blend of medical expertise and a commitment to providing comprehensive care to patients, Dr. Mehrafarin excels in the fields of naturopathic medicine.

Dr. Mehrafarin possesses a strong interest in promoting health and preventive medicine, educating patients, identifying, and addressing risk factors, early disease detection, and encouraging healthy behaviours to reduce the likelihood of illness or injury. She employs a comprehensive range of naturopathic techniques to target the underlying causes of your condition rather than merely addressing and treating your symptoms.

Her patient base includes individuals with a wide spectrum of conditions, such as gastrointestinal disorders, cancer, pain and chronic illness such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, stress management, sleep and mood disorders, eczema, autoimmune diseases, hypertension, diabetes, thyroid health, geriatrics and women’s health.
