Emily Catinean, ND, HBSc

Dr. Emily Catinean, ND is a licensed Naturopathic doctor, registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). She enjoys working with people of all walks of life towards achieving their health goals.

Emily’s spark for Naturopathic Medicine began while volunteering at her local hospital, listening to patient’s concerns and wondering if there was a way to further improve people’s quality of life and health.

After graduating from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Honours Health Studies and a minor in Nutrition, Dr. Catinean went on to pursue Naturopathic Medicine by completing the four year program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).

Dr. Catinean works with the pediatric and adult population to help manage conditions around allergies, digestion, hormones, mental health, stress management and prevention of chronic disease like diabetes, hypertension and obesity. She also has a special interest in autoimmune conditions such as Grave’s disease, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Systemic lupus erythematosus, Rheumatoid arthritis, as well as chronic fatigue and Fibromyalgia.

With her educational and experiential knowledge, Dr. Catinean is motivated to provide individualized treatment options that are evidence based, along with education and support towards better health and wellbeing.
