ND Profile

Samantha Petrin, ND, BSc

Dr. Samantha Petrin ND has wanted to be a doctor for as long as she can remember. Before she knew what naturopathic medicine was, she explained that she wanted to do medicine differently. She wanted to focus on the prevention of disease, nutrition, and the mental emotional aspects of health. When she discovered that naturopathic medicine did all this, and more, she was thrilled and dove all in.

After achieving her BSc in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University, she went on to complete the naturopathic medical program at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. There she learned holistic primary care medicine rooted in treating the whole person, identifying the root cause of disease, focusing on prevention, patient education, and honoring the healing power of nature.

She is fascinated by the mind body connection and its innate wisdom. She enjoys working with her patients to invite awareness and balance into their lives. She runs a general practice, but is particularly excited when helping patients with anxiety, acne concerns, digestive issues, and stress management.

Outside of the clinic she enjoys acrobatics, breathwork, meditation, and listening to the calming waves at the beach.
