Dr. Bohez, is an experienced Naturopathic Doctor committed to offering integrative medical care. She brings an effective combination of compassion, credibility, and care to her patients and is committed to helping people address the root cause of their symptoms, achieve optimal health and enhance their quality of living.

Heather has been fortunate to receive training and mentorship from several of Canada’s elder Naturopathic Doctors. Dr. Bohez recognizes and values the need for doctors of medicine, naturopathy, and chiropractic, midwives, nurse practitioners and other highly trained health professionals to work together. Having been born with a genetic ear defect she experienced intimately hospitals and medical doctors at a very young age. Grateful for the conventional care received from Ear Nose and Throat specialists, she also benefited tremendously from alternative doctors that enabled her to achieve lifelong health.

Throughout her youth Dr. Bohez’s drive to excel was channeled into basketball. As an elite athlete she played for several Alberta provincial teams, the University of Victoria under the guidance of Canada’s renowned Kathy Shields, plus stints with Canada’s junior and senior national teams. She graduated from UVIC with a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Psychology before achieving her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine Diploma in 2000.

Dr. Bohez cherishes her family and draws inspiration from her husband, two sons, siblings and parents. She remains committed to improving herself and bringing out the best in others. Being able to create a long standing practice and helping patients heal has been a rewarding and inspiring lifelong commitment.
