Dr. Pearl Arjomand, ND, focuses on women's health with a special interest in reproductive health, menopause and symptoms arising due to hormone imbalances. She works closely with her patients to identify the causes of any hormone imbalance and utilizes effective laboratory testing methods and natural therapies with her patients. She strives to educate and empower her patients to take an active role in their health.
Hormone imbalances can manifest both as internal symptoms and external. When hormones are out of balance it can manifest as feeling tired, irritable, and more easily overwhelmed or it can manifest as irregular periods, hot flashes, sleep problems, and trouble with conception. Other symptoms that often have a hormonal basis include weight gain, acne, hair loss and changes in skin.
When hormones are optimal women not only feel better and the aging process also slows down and they look better. Addressing the challenges of aging and weight loss for those over 40 are other focuses of Dr. Arjomand's. Dr. Arjomand loves to work with women to help them feel and look their best selves again by optimizing thyroid function and sex hormones as well as regulating the body’s stress response. She has studied and is able to prescribe bio-identical hormones and desiccated thyroid to help the body restore normal function. Her certification in intravenous therapies enables her to further support patients who may benefit from this therapy.
