Ardyce Yik, ND

Dr. Ardyce Yik is a licensed naturopathic physician who helps people with all types of health conditions, with a clinical focus on women’s and children’s health. Having relocated from Toronto to Hong Kong in 2008, she is one of the first North American-licensed naturopathic physicians to start practising in Hong Kong. Fluent in both English and Cantonese, Dr. Yik is dedicated to helping her patient achieve and maintain optimal health and wellness. She is the author of the book, COVID-19 AND YOU: 20 Ways to Support Your Health. She was named one of 2022’s Women of Wellness in Hong Kong. 

Dr. Yik received her Bachelor of Science degree with distinction in Human Biology from the University of Toronto. She later graduated from the naturopathic medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. To keep her knowledge up to date, Dr. Yik regularly pursues Continuing Medical Education courses offered by Harvard Medical School. She has experience in hospital settings working with amputees and disabled children as well as children with special needs. Dr. Yik’s kindness, compassion and strive for excellence began at a young age- she earned the distinct honour of being valedictorian of her graduating class at Zion Heights Jr. High School. She is currently licensed and registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, the regulatory body for naturopathic medicine in Ontario, Canada. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Besides maintaining a family practice, Dr. Yik offers her expertise through various print media (South China Morning Post, AsiaSpa, The Standard, etc.) as well as corporates/ institutions, including McKinsey & Co., Morgan Stanley, Nomura Group, Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and Hong Kong International School. She has also appeared as a naturopathic medical expert on Bloomberg Television. 

In addition to caring for patients and writing articles for her blog, Dr. Yik enjoys spending time with her three kids and husband. She understands the challenges associated with juggling the demands of motherhood, a home, a career and everything in-between. She often shares her pearls of wisdom in practice, empowering patients to find balance and fulfilment in life.
