CAND 2021 Election Toolkit
The current election is an excellent opportunity for naturopathic doctors across Canada to reach out to the candidates in their ridings to educate them about naturopathic medicine and the CAND’s federal priorities. With your help we can identify which candidates and parties will commit to supporting our policy priorities when MPs return to the House of Commons this fall.

- Backgrounder – used regularly by the CAND containing talking points you can use with the candidates.
- Election Tracker – prepared by our Government Relations experts H + K, outlining the platforms of each of the parties to help you determine which party is most closely aligned with your political views. This is a living document and will be updated throughout the campaign as the parties release their formal platforms, or more information becomes available.
The CAND will be sending a short survey to each of the parties asking if they will support our key priorities – coverage of naturopathic services for Veterans and Indigenous Peoples and amending the regulations to permit NDs to recommend Cannabis for medical purposes. The responses we receive will be posted on our website.
