Rate of Pay
All first-time instructors receive a per hour premium on all hours of instruction.
The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), established in 1978, is Canada’s premier, pan-Canadian academic institution for education and research in naturopathic medicine. CCNM has two campuses, one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus. Its graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.

Experience
- Instruction: Two (2) years of teaching experience and five (5) years of clinical experience is an asset
Education
- Healthcare professional registered in the province of BC (ND, DC, MD, etc.)
- Clinical TA candidates must be a registered to practice in BC
- Training in teaching methodology, curriculum design, and evaluation at a post-secondary level is an asset
- Note additional qualifications will be course dependent
- Recent graduates of the CCNM Boucher program will be considered for Teaching Assistant opportunities
Skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students
- Excellent, demonstrable communication skills
- Established research publication record is desirable
- Proven organizational and time management skills with ability to direct concurrent activities
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with students and colleagues
- Positive, demonstrated commitment to student success
