The Canmore Health & Wellness Centre is Hiring!

Canmore’s busiest holistic health clinic is looking for a part-time naturopathic doctor to join us. Owned and operated by Dr. Dawne Engele ND, this beautiful clinic in downtown Canmore, is the only truly multidisciplinary clinic in the area offering comprehensive care. Our many clinicians include: a chiropractor, psychologists, massage therapists, medical aestheticians, a podologist, an acupuncturist, and more. All reception services are provided.

The ideal fit would be an experienced ND who is:

– IV certified (required)
– focused on women’s health / hormones
– interested in pediatrics (useful, but not required)
– driven to build a thriving practice

Practice days available: Wednesday, Friday, and every other Sunday.

The Bow Valley is home to some of Canada’s top athletes, and most of the population lives here to enjoy an active lifestyle. Some knowledge of sports med, injury rehabilitation, or a personal history in sports would be very useful.

This position is suitable for a doctor who has been practicing for several years and knows that it takes work to build a practice. While we have many talented practitioners, referrals are not guaranteed and it is important to have some knowledge of practice management. In all honesty, this would not be a good fit for a recent graduate. There is a great deal of collaboration and camaraderie on a daily basis, but Dr. Dawne’s full schedule does not allow her many opportunities to provide direct mentorship.  As your practice grows, the potential to transition to full-time increases. There is also potential to increase your billable hours by working in the cozy IV suite on other practice days.
