We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Instructor for
Emergency Medicine (CLS304) for the winter 2023 term. In this course, students focus on the
fundamentals of Emergency Medicine including the management of emergency scenarios and
the expectations of emergency care in primary care settings.
The course is scheduled to take place on: Wednesdays, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience
Previous teaching experience is considered an asset
Strong background in Emergency Medicine
Education
The ideal candidate will possess a Masters or PhD in the related disciplines and/or will be
a Board licensed ND, DOM, RN, DC, MD etc. with at least 5 years of clinical experience
and a background in innovative, interactive teaching
Training in teaching methodology, curriculum design, and evaluation at a post -secondary
level is an asset
Skills
Ability to motivate and engage students
Excellent, demonstrable communication skills
Established research publication record is desirable
Positive, demonstrated commitment to student success
