Our graduates are eligible to write the licensing examinations for all regulated jurisdictions in Canada and the United States to become naturopathic doctors.   The College is a registered charity dependent upon tuition, research grants and donations for the fulfillment of its mission. CCNM has two campuses, one in Toronto and another in the Metro Vancouver area known as the Boucher Campus. The Opportunity: Shape the Future of Naturopathic Education

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Associate Dean to join our Clinical Education team. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Dean of the Naturopathic Program, overseeing the highest standards of teaching and care across all CCNM Teaching Clinics part of the Boucher Campus.

 

Your Impact:

Leadership: Guide and manage clinical supervisors, ensuring they deliver excellent clinical teaching and provide exceptional ambulatory care for clients. This includes leadership and oversight to external clinics. Work collaboratively to assist the College achieve its strategic objectives.

 

Curriculum Innovation:  As part of the curriculum leadership team, you will play an integral part in developing the clinical education curriculum and ensuring its seamless integration with academic components in a manner that furthers the College’s goal of being a leader in training highly competent naturopathic doctors. You will ensure reporting and compliance for regulatory and/or accrediting requirements.

 

Student & Faculty Engagement: Champion the success of our students by offering premier learning experiences and play a hands-on role in faculty support and development.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • Post graduate degree preferably in education, health sciences or related field
  • Successful completion of a CNME accredited naturopathic medical program and eligible for  full registration (practicing) as an Naturopathic Doctor
  • Experience in working as an educator and administrator in a post-secondary educational setting
  • Experience working as a Naturopathic Doctor in a clinical setting
  • Eligible for full licensure (practicing) as an Naturopathic Doctor in BC
  • Strong well developed management skills
  • Proven analytical, decision-making and project management ability in order to initiate, develop, implement, and manage a wide variety of complex projects
  • High level of communication skills including experience dealing with many different levels of stakeholders, including faculty, staff and students
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively– both orally and in writing- with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Extensive experience working with MS Office applications, databases, point of sale systems and Electronic Medical Records System
  • Excellent organization, time management, analytical and research skills
  • Tact, discretion and ability to exercise professional judgment in a highly confidential environment
