Tremendous news from Nova Scotia

On July 2, 2008 NS became the first Atlantic province and sixth Canadian province to regulate naturopathic doctors (NDs)! The legislation will provide the public with added protection by ensuring that individuals using the title naturopathic doctor or ND have received proper naturopathic medical training and has passed the Naturopathic Physicians’ Licensing Examinations (NPLEX). The Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors congratulates the Nova Scotia Association of Naturopathic Doctors (NSAND), all NS NDs and the province and residents of Nova Scotia.
